the last film i saw was "WeekEnd" which is a 1967 french film by Jean Luc Godard. It's heralded as one of the great avantgarde movies of all time. I learned about from Robert Mckey's Screenwriting book "Story."
The film opens with what has to be one of the greatest movie openings of all time. The first 10 minutes are superb all the way around. The rest of the film is strange and insane. There is a ten minute tracking shot of a car accident. Brilliantly shot. It does not follow a solid narrative story line and is all over the place. Each scene is almost a movie in it's own. I was bored at times but was still entertained.
If you like art house films and want to see want of the greats i recommend it. Otherwise you will hate it. Lol. For film lovers only.

Last movie I saw was Kick-Ass. I had nothing against seeing it, but honestly wouldn't have if you didn't want to so bad. I'm glad I did, I was surprised by all the different genres and how well they mixed together. It takes a whole lot of people who know what they are doing to make something like that work. It was amazing. And Kick-Ass is hot so watching him didn't hurt either.
